CrowdFunding Conference Leader
An innovator in online marketing, Jim has been a manager and executive at Fox Interactive, TradingMarkets, and Discus Dental. During his career, he has overseen social media marketing, e-commerce management, and demand generation for online properties such as MySpace, IGN, Intelligent Beauty, TradingMarkets, Askmen, BriteSmile, Toshiba, and Bingo.com. Prior to embracing the Internet, Jim created direct marketing campaigns at ADVO Direct and MoneyMailer for national brands such as Honda, Yamaha, Firestone Tires, and Ralphs markets. He now heads up IM4C, a consulting firm that specializes in managing online marketing projects for established firms and entreprenurial start-ups.
Having launched social media programs that generated tens of thousands of followers, he has found the initial step in developing a successful social media plan is in paying attention to the details; “Make sure each campaign includes the following elements: measurability, accountability, timeliness, responsiveness and consistency. There are a number of enterprise-level tools that can help a business scale and coordinate their social media activities to achieve sustainable success.” Jim is in the process of completing a book on how to integrate social media into e-commerce and B2B activities.
